　　People always believe that fresh water will not be used up, and that we can find plenty of fresh water in nature in the form of rain water, river water, well water, etc.

　　But in fact, fresh water is very scarce in the world. With the development of the society, the world population is increasing every day, so that more people need more fresh water. What’s more, the amount of fresh water used in industries is rising steadily. Besides, we can not ignore the danger of water pollution: millions of tons of fresh water are thus polluted. As a result, we do not have much fresh water left in the world.

　　What can we do to solve this problem? First of all, from now on we should stop wasting fresh water. Second, water pollution should be strictly forbidden. Third, we should try to control our population. Only in this way can we have plenty of fresh water in the future.
