　　Computer plays an important part in modern life. it not only have advantages but also disadvantages.the strengths and shortcomings are given as following:

　　Advantages:computer can help people save time to do more work. people can solve their problems which is not easy for them to make out with computer.

　　Disadvantages: the number of families whose use computer have increased rapidly. Parents just want to help their children to improve their academic performance with computer, but many students use the computer for playing games. thus their studies are abandoned. in a number of countries several million people are unemployed because of playing computer.

　　Although computer has advantages and disadvantages, my opinion is that it is good or bad just depends on the person who use it, rather than the computer itself.
