我们要对香烟说不！英语作文

Say“NO”to Cigarette(远离香烟)
　　At the beginning of the July ，Shanghai EXPO Origanization has refused a donation of 200 million RMB from Shanghai Tobacco Company owing to the thought of “Healthy EXPO”， which triggered a heated argument on this decision. Some people believe that a lot can be done with the money. However， in my opinion， it is wise of Shanghai EXPO Origanization to have made such a decision.
　　To begin with， cigarette is harmful to our physical health which is well proved by scientists. If Shanghai EXPO Origanization accepts the donation ， side effects can‘t be avoided.It may increase the population of smokers. It is reported in a survey that nearly 30 percent of the people who smoke every day are teenagers.
　　On the other hand，cigarette also does harm to our mental health，especially in the growth of teenagers. Some teenagers who have ever tried smoking admitted smoking brought them temporary excitement and they even addicted to it. The government‘s reports also said  smoking has a great negative effect on teenagers’ social general mood. Thus， teenagers may get some bad habits by smoking.
　　In conclusion what the Shanghai EXPO Origanization did has set a good example to all smokers. We teenagers should also say “No” to cigarette.
